He Has And He Will
2 Corinthians 1:8-11
“We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us again. On Him we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.”
Let the pressure of life pull you closer to God not push you away from Him. When you face a situation that you believe is more than you can handle, please understand, that is an opportunity to rely on God instead of yourself.
You might be absolutely right, what you are facing, the devil meant for it to take you out, but you serve a God that raises the dead back to life. You may be at a point in life that you are facing a trial that has sucked the life out of your soul. Take courage. He has delivered you before and He will deliver you again.
On God you have to set your hope! He will continue to deliver you! Pray through the pain. One day many will give thanks when they see God deliver you from your despair.
