Unanswered Prayers
Why does it feel like my prayers are going unanswered?
Have you ever prayed something and ended it with – if it be Your will?
God is showing us that one statement reveals to Him an individual that does not know His will.
You may be asking how do you possibly know the will of God? We will tell you how. By reading God’s Word. God’s Word is His Will. You will begin to discover the will of God when you begin to read the words of God.
When Jesus’ disciples asked Him to teach them to pray Jesus didn’t pray a prayer that consisted of making a statement – if it be Your Will. Jesus prayed a prayer that said Your Kingdom come Your Will be done.
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.” – 1 John 5:14-15
There should be an unshakable confidence concerning your prayers! When you are deeply rooted in the Word of God His Will becomes clear. That clarity will construct the prayers that you send before the throne of God. When one prays from that posture that individual no longer has to make the statement – if it be Your will. That individual now knows whatever is being asked they will have! Why? Because they are praying the Will of God.
Fight to get to the place where you never pray with the statement – if it be Your will. Get to the place where your confidence is rooted in the Word of God. That root will produce the fruit of clarity concerning God’s will.
