The Colts are Coming!

“Go into the village over there, He said and you will see a donkey tied there, with its colt beside it. Untie them and bring them here. If anyone asks what you are doing, just say, “The Lord needs them,’ and he will immediately send them. The two disciples did as Jesus said. They brought the animals to Him and threw their garments over the colt, and He sat on it.” – Matthew 21:2-7 NLT

The disciples brought Jesus a donkey and a colt. Why didn’t Jesus ride the donkey into town? It would have been more trained and mature to handle a human sitting on top of it, riding into town. People were laying down coats and tree branches while yelling and singing! Why not choose the animal that would have probably been exposed to that type of environment? Instead Jesus chooses the colt!

I believe this is the type of leader Jesus is choosing in this hour! Leaders who have just been birthed from a place called hidden, ones that have never been mounted before. Unbridled and unbroken leaders that are wild and ready! Leaders who were born to be ridden but just haven't had the opportunity yet. These leaders were born for the presence of Jesus to rest on them! Those who have walked away from platforms because they were born for presence. These leaders are about to be untied and released into their calling!

If you are that colt, get ready! You are about to be untied, it’s time! The Lord needs you.

Watch for it! The colts are coming!
