The Burning Bush Breakthrough

It’s crazy how God had Moses and Aaron doing seemingly small actions to perform incredible miracles. Throw a stick down and it turns into a snake (Exodus 7:10). Hit the water at the Nile and the whole river and all the water in Egypt turns into blood (Exodus 7:20). Tell Aaron to point his shepherds staff toward all the rivers, canals and marshes of Egypt and then frogs come in from every corner of the land (Exodus 8:5). Tell Aaron to strike the dust with his staff and then boom gnats everywhere (Exodus 8:16).

Moses and Aaron go on to perform multiple miracles with God only having them do a small simple act that in reality should not have produce the larger than life miracles that followed.

From the beginning God intended to show His glory to those who do not believe He is Lord. I also believe from the beginning He wanted to use us to do that. Regardless if you’re in ministry or in the marketplace.  

Somewhere along the way we have fallen into this trap of striving and ambition, masking it with doing “God’s work” or chasing the “American Dream.”

God never intended us to work that way. The way He used Moses is the way He wants to use all of us. Do this small thing and step back and watch Me go to work. Be obedient to My voice and let Me do the rest. 

Building a ministry or a life in the marketplace this way is unheard of in our culture. So is seeing miracles that Moses saw…

Living a life of a Christian is in need of a massive mindset shift to understanding that God wants to AND can take your little and use it to produce mighty miracles. He wants to partner with us to see ~ on earth as it is in heaven. 

Before the miracles happened Moses struggled with the idea that he was unqualified (Exodus 3:11). He told God – “they won’t listen to me” (Exodus 3:13). I believe Moses made the final decision to partner with God to help free a nation that had been in bondage for 430 years when he discovered one thing. It was when he asked the million dollar question. Who do “I” say sent me? It wasn’t enough for Moses to be sent on the stories of who he heard God was. The God of his ancestors wasn’t going to give him the faith to lead a million people out of bondage. He needed to know who God was for himself. He wanted his own encounter with The Creator. God gave it to him! He said tell them “I AM” sent you! It says in the Bible Abraham, Issac and Jacob knew God as God Almighty but you will know me as The Lord! The “I AM” (Exodus 6:2)!

Freedom Church Revolution exist to usher people into that same encounter Moses experienced. God took one man and set a whole nation free. Imagine what He can do with you?
