The Same
Jeremiah 11:11
Therefore this is what the Lord says: “I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them.”
Is God the same yesterday, today and forever? If so we need to be on our faces praying He doesn’t bring a disaster we cannot escape because we are in the same boat the people of Judah and Jerusalem were in. We are a wicked nation that has filled our day up with everything but God…
Jeremiah 11:14, Do not pray for these people or offer any plea or petition for them, because I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their distress.
God told Jeremiah not to even pray for His people. If we really believed God is the same God and He never changes this would grieve us.
God, I ask that the blood of Jesus covers the sins of this nation. Forgive us God. Forgive us for turning our back on you, God. Have mercy on our leaders. Have mercy on the pastors of this nation who have strayed away from your word, God. Those who have adopted strategies over the supernatural. Those who have adopted their 10-year business plan over the Presence of Jesus.
God, have mercy on the fathers of this nation who have abandoned their position in the home for a position within the corporate world. Turn the hearts of sons to the fathers, God, and the hearts of fathers back to the sons.
Pour out your Spirit on this country, God. Let the remnant respond to your whispers, God. Guide them supernaturally like you did the children of Israel.
Confuse our speech once again, God, so that we have to abandon what we are trying to build. Confuse us and scatter us, God. Honor those who have given up everything just to be with you. Let the remnant be a seed sown in a field of faith that will manifest a harvest of your Holy Spirt. Let this nation once again be able to eat from the harvest that is grown from a field of faith. In Jesus Name…
