The Greatest Gift Ever Given

Psalm 115:16

“The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth He has given to mankind.”

God gave the earth as a gift to mankind. How are you taking care of your gift? In my opinion, the Christian camp should be leading the discussions of how to properly steward this gift that was given to us by God. Instead we have the topic of stewarding the earth being led by those who aren’t openly professing to be followers of Jesus Christ.

Avoiding sin is the milk of the gospel. It’s time for Christians to go deeper and begin to lead the discussion of stewardship of the earth. This earth is a gift. Research ways that you can become better stewards of the world around you. You will be shocked what you will find and even more shocked what damage we are doing to this precious gift.

Ask God to show you how you can be a better steward of your world. Just a word of warning. What He shows you will be some of the most inconvenient and unconventional actions. I encourage you to break up your routine and your mindsets and allow God to change the way you think and see things. The only way for God to transform you is by the renewal of your mind. Changing the way you think positions you to inherit God’s whispers.
