Grace
Psalm 103:8-12
“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor His anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him: as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
The grace of God is unexplainable. It’s the greatest gift you can ever receive. God loves you more than you can imagine. The enemy wants you stuck in your sin and God wants you saved from the bondage of sin. When you truly repent and turn from your wicked ways God separates you from your sin. As far as the east is from the west.
The root of sin produces the fruit of shame. Once you get rooted in God you will produce a fruit that only grace can produce.
If you are living with shame, ask God to dig up your roots and plant you by the streams of living water. Don’t stay planted in your sin. God sent His son Jesus to die on the cross in order that you may be planted and rooted in His grace.
You will never find a spot where East and West meet. So, when God is separating your sins as far is the East is from the West He is removing them from your life to where they will never meet up with you again!
A couple lines from The Ballard of East and West:
Oh, East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet,
Till Earth and Sky stand presently at God’s great Judgment seat.
